FullyRaw Kristina - YouTube Raw/Vegan Queen

Back in June, I had a chance to meet Kristina, the raw and vegan expert and founder of Fully Raw Kristina, the Rawfully Organic Co-op, and recently, the new Fully Raw Juice company. While I have been following her for several years I never became a full-fledged raw eater. Even though many might remember that I went vegan for about 2 years, my lifestyle changed after getting pregnant. Even though I am not fully raw or vegan, I simply enjoy watching Kristina's videos on YouTube and learning how to incorporate more raw recipes in my life.

This is what I learned from Kristina. Even though she has a strict lifestyle and never strays from her ways of eating, she does not judge, coerce, or mandate that all people should follow the raw lifestyle. She lives through example and through her passion working through her businesses and creating art and tantalizing dishes for her audience.

Kristina's first baby was creating the Rawfully Organic Co-op that brought the community together in buying organic and local produce. The company is non-profit and is different from a CSA in that it does not only buy from one local farm but it focuses on buying bulk produce from area farmers. How wonderful is that? I learned that no one really receives a paycheck but is based solely on bringing the community together for the sake of sustainable produce. I had a chance to try a box and shared the goodies with my family while our time remained in Houston.

As I talked to Kristina, I noticed people really excited to pick up their shares and I even heard one lady ask if there was a spiralizer available to buy. It was really neat to see that her company was making a point to educate and bring awareness on eating raw foods.

Not only does she help people around but she has inspired her parents to lead healthier lives. Kristina has a specialist that checks her blood work often to make sure she does not have any issues. If there is anything off then she usually incorporates more of a specific fruit, veggie or natural fat coming from nuts and oils.

Kristina is also a chef and teaches others through classes on how to prepare raw dishes and has hosted and spoken at many retreats and conferences focusing on the raw and vegan lifestyle.

One of Kristina's newest ventures is her line of raw juices. At the moment she is selling her pressed juices at the co-ops in nice glass jars but is also looking at selling in stores for the whole community. I had a beet, orange, and carrot juice that was real amazing. So fresh and perfect in the crazy humid weather in Houston.

If you have not checked out Kristina's YouTube channel you should. Check out her recent Bikini Body Challenge where she creates a daily recipe, exercise and tip for 14 days!

I am dreaming of when I can make her scrumptious-looking raw cherry cheesecake that she recently posted. Oh my!

How do I keep up with Kristina? I simply enjoy perusing her Instagram photos of all her recipe creations. I asked if a cookbook was coming out soon and there was hint of it so be sure to stay tuned! If you of any Spanish speakers who would like to know more about the raw and vegan lifestyle then send them to the site and they will see a link for videos and posts in Spanish.
